Kennel Operations Manager Our Client is an established, highly regarded dog boarding and daycare business seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee its busy, growing facility. This is a professional, hands-on management position responsible for employees, customers, daily operations, and maintaining high standards of dog care and safety. The successful candidate must be a self-driven self-starter who takes initiative and does not require constant direction. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, schedule, and hold staff accountable and establish expectations. Oversee daily operations, staffing, and facility standards to ensure excellent customer satisfaction. Be actively involved in the hands-on operation of the facility and care of the dogs. Enforce established dog-care and safety procedures. Independently solve operational and personnel issues. Liaison with owners on a regular basis. Ideal Candidate Our Client is seeking a mature, organized, self-motivated leader who can take ownership of the operation and effectively manage both people and daily business activities.

The ideal candidate will have:

A college degree , preferably in Business, Management, Hospitality, Animal Science, Communications, or a related field. The specific major is less important than the skills and maturity demonstrated through higher education. Alternatively, substantial, verifiable experience in a supervisory or management role may be considered in lieu of a college degree. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. The confidence to establish expectations and hold staff accountable. Sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to work independently. A willingness to be hands-on and actively involved in the operation , rather than managing solely from an office. Comfort working around dogs in a physically active environment. Pet-care experience is valuable, but proven management ability, leadership experience, initiative, and sound judgment are equally important. Pay:

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
