Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Architect / Project Manager to join a nationally recognized architecture and interior design practice in Atlanta, GA. This role is ideal for a licensed architect who thrives in both project leadership and technical execution, bringing the ability to manage clients, mentor teams, and deliver exceptional design solutions across a variety of project types. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can confidently lead projects through all phases of design and construction while balancing schedules, budgets, team coordination, and client relationships. Role and Responsibilities Lead projects through all phases, from concept design through construction administration. Develop and advance design concepts in collaboration with project teams and clients. Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and team coordination. Produce and oversee design development and construction documentation packages. Coordinate consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Serve as a main point of contact for clients Ensure quality, accuracy, and technical excellence across all project deliverables. Utilize Revit and other design technologies to support project execution and visualization. Mentor and support junior team members while fostering a collaborative project environment. Participate in business development, networking, and professional industry engagement. Contribute to firmwide initiatives, innovation efforts, and continuous improvement of project delivery processes. Experience and Qualifications Professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited institution. Architectural licensure required. 10+ years of professional experience within an architecture or design firm. Experience leading projects through all phases of design and construction. Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and team leadership. Advanced proficiency in Revit required. Experience with SketchUp, Enscape, Rhino, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and visualization tools preferred. Strong design sensibility and ability to communicate ideas through graphics, presentations, and documentation. Excellent verbal, written, and client-facing communication skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and priorities. LEED accreditation and/or active NCARB record preferred.
