Multiple Coppermine Pool Locations (3 Pools- Baltimore County)
Position Type:
Seasonal Full-Time (Summer) Are you an energetic, organized leader who thrives in a fast-paced outdoor environment? We're looking for a Summer Aquatics Director to oversee operations at three pool facilities, ensuring exceptional customer service, safe operations, and a positive experience for our members, guests, and staff. This leadership role requires someone who is hands-on, dependable, and available to work weekends or be on-call throughout the summer season. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations at three pool locations. Recruit, schedule, supervise, and support pool managers, lifeguards, and front gate staff. Conduct regular visits to each pool to ensure high operational and safety standards. Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to pool management teams. Serve as the primary point of contact for pool managers and assist with problem-solving throughout the day. Coordinate facility rentals, special events, and private pool parties. Communicate with the pool maintenance company regarding repairs, water quality concerns, and equipment issues. Perform routine facility inspections to identify maintenance or safety concerns. Ensure compliance with all health department regulations, company policies, and aquatic safety standards. Assist with member concerns and provide outstanding customer service. Manage staffing adjustments and respond to last-minute scheduling needs. Be available to work weekends and remain on-call for operational issues throughout the summer.
