The Position The Aquatics Manager leads the daily operations of our aquatics program and customer service activities. You'll ensure the British Swim School curriculum is delivered to brand and safety standards, manage and mentor instructors, handle customer interactions, and teach lessons. This part-time role requires a minimum of 20 hours per week and is pivotal to our early success, helping us deliver a world-class experience for our swimmers and families. Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and mentor swim instructors
  • Schedule pool lessons and staff shifts efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records for employee certifications and compliance
  • Teach lessons and model customer service excellence
  • Build a positive, motivating culture for staff and students
  • Communicate effectively with families and leadership Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in aquatics, childcare, hospitality, fitness, or related field, specialized swim instruction credentials plus
  • CPR/Lifeguard certifications (may be obtained during training) Compensation and Benefits

Compensation:

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach. We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wver you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the "Survival of the Littlest."
