About the

Role:

Carousel Resort Hotel & Condominiums is seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on Manager of Recreation to lead the daily operations of our pool areas, ice skating rink, outdoor activities and game rooms. This leadership role is responsible for the safety, cleanliness, team management, and guest experience across all recreational areas. You will collaborate with staff, manage departmental operations, and ensure that all programming and recreational spaces align with company standards and exceed guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily recreation operations and step in as needed to support staff Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of pools, the ice rink, and game rooms Respond to guest inquiries with professionalism and urgency Plan and lead activities, events, and programs to engage guests Manage departmental goals, schedules, and vendor relationships Train, supervise, and evaluate recreation team members Ensure safety, policy compliance, and operational excellence across all areas Maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment through weekly meetings and open communication Monitor supply levels and ensure staff are equipped to succeed Coach and develop staff to enhance service and performance Celebrate wins and recognize team achievements Enforce fair and consistent administration of policies and procedures

What We're Looking For:

Proven leadership experience in recreation, hospitality, or guest services Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Hands-on leader who is willing to jump in and support the team Ability to identify safety concerns and take corrective action Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be comfortable standing, walking, and bending for extended periods Flexible schedule — weekends and holidays required Why Join Us? $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
