Manage event venues, ensuring all spaces are prepared, equipped, and maintained for optimal guest enjoyment. Lead a team of activity staff and volunteers by providing clear direction, fostering team development, and promoting a positive work environment. Coordinate with vendors, entertainers, instructors, and external partners to deliver high-quality events that meet safety standards and guest expectations. Maintain budgets for activities and events, ensuring cost-effective operations while delivering exceptional experiences. Implement safety protocols including first aid procedures, water safety instruction, CPR certification requirements, AED operation training, and emergency response plans. Handle guest inquiries related to activities with professionalism and enthusiasm, ensuring excellent customer service at all times. Monitor facilities management needs related to activity spaces to ensure cleanliness, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. Track participation metrics and gather feedback to continuously improve programming quality and guest satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in events management or hospitality management with a strong background in planning large-scale activities or events. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams in fast-paced environments such as resorts or event venues. Knowledge of water safety instruction, CPR certification, AED operation, first aid procedures, and emergency response protocols. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality programming. Excellent communication skills suitable for managerial roles involving team leadership and customer interaction. Experience in facilities management or operational oversight within hospitality or resort settings is highly desirable. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately when necessary and manage sales or promotional activities related to events.
