Position Overview The Studio Manager is responsible for building and operating the business side of the facility where our priority focus is to grow our membership to capacity and maintain that membership efficiently and effectively. This role oversees daily studio management, client acquisition, facility standards, and local brand expansion. The Studio Manager is not responsible for coaching development or programming but this role manages the HR and cultural side ensuring alignment and effectiveness of coaching outcomes along with the Head Coach. The core mission is to grow the studio by building deep relationships, executing sales systems, and ensuring a premium operational experience for members and prospects alike. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the gym, ensuring a clean, safe, and hospitality rich environment for all members.
  • Implement and maintain operational standards and procedures, ensuring consistency in member experience across all areas of the gym.
  • Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and facility cleanliness & upkeep to ensure a premium environment. All members of our team deeply care about what our experience looks and feels like, and there is no job that our team won't take on themselves when needed.
  • Manage day to day member revenue, member communications, and overall experience and survey learnings. Client Acquisition and Sales
  • Own the lead generation process: local marketing, referral strategies, outbound campaigns. We expect studio managers to have and build their networks and effectively attract and convert new members locally.
  • Manage initial assessment and consultation flow for all incoming leads
  • Conduct follow-up and conversion communication for all new leads
  • Own CRM accuracy and workflow execution across platforms (MBO, Go High Level (GHL), etc.) Community + Partnership Growth
  • Build and nurture strategic local partnerships with businesses and organizations
  • Attend and lead outreach efforts and community events to drive lead flow
  • Represent brand in the Valley as a high-touch, community-first brand Member Engagement and Retention
  • Oversee the new member onboarding experience
  • Work closely with the Head Coach on the retention strategy and member engagement cadence
  • Lead member feedback systems and service audits Team + Studio Alignment
  • Collaborate with Head Coach to ensure operational and coaching calendars are aligned
  • Ensure staffing levels match business demand (classes, assessments, events)
  • Coordinate with ownership on hiring, training, and role clarity as team expands Financial + KPI Tracking
  • Manage and report weekly KPIs for lead gen, conversions, trials, and member growth
  • Monitor studio budget in collaboration with ownership
  • Support cost-saving efforts, efficiency improvements, and margin growth
  • Manage facility payroll within Gusto's HR system
  • Deeply learn and understand the metrics that make the facility successful, and drive strategy and tactics from those numeric learnings Strategic Planning and Execution
  • Work closely with the owners of the corporate team and implement strategic plans for the gym's growth and success.
  • Evaluate and adapt business practices to stay ahead of industry trends and market demands, ensuring the brand remains a leader in the fitness industry.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in gym operations, member experience, and staff development, implementing changes as needed.
  • Constantly learn what's happening at the facility level - leads, prospects, members, coaches, team members, and technology - and support the corporate team's initiatives to positively impact your facility and all other studios. Quality Control and Compliance
  • Ensure that all staff adhere to standards and policies, including health and safety regulations.
  • Regularly audit classes, assessments, and personal training sessions to maintain the highest quality standards.

                      Certification:

                        CPR/AED Certified:
