Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Director of Golf & Social Activities to lead and elevate our community's recreational and social programming. This energetic leader will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of engaging golf events, social gatherings, and recreational activities that foster a vibrant, inclusive environment. As The Director of Golf & Activities you will be responsible for the overall operation and performance of the golf course, including managing staff, overseeing golf activities, member social activities, and ensuring an exceptional experience for all members & guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create memorable experiences that promote wellness, community engagement, and joy among members and guests alike. The rate of pay will be based on experience. Duties Manage and oversee golf daily operations, including pro shop & driving range Coordinate with staff, vendors, and volunteers to ensure smooth execution of all events while maintaining safety protocols. Plan, organize and direct golf tournaments, leagues and promotional events Develop and implement golf policies and procedures Hire, train, and supervise golf staff. Monitor customer feedback to continually improve activity offerings and ensure they meet evolving needs related to aging issues and disabilities. Work closely with Food & Beverage staff Qualifications Proven experience in event planning. Excellent communication skills to engage members, customers and staff Experience managing schedules for multiple programs simultaneously while ensuring compliance with safety standards
Pay:
$22.01 - $30.11 per hour
