Job Description
Under the leadership of the Associate Executive Director this position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Aquatics Director will oversee all aspects of aquatic programming including training, supervision of lifeguards, coordination of swim lessons and all aspects of Aquatic programming for the branch.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience Minimum 2 years' experience working in Aquatics Programming Current CPR/AED/First Aid/Lifeguard Certification Minimum 2-year Staff or Volunteer supervision experience Knowledge of aquatics programming and safety issues Demonstrated leadership, dependability & flexibility in work hoursPreferred:
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) Knowledge of budgeting & expense control. Excellent written and oral communication skills Bilingual - English/Spanish Experience teaching swim lessonsSimilar jobs in Tulsa, OK
