Do you enjoy learning the business side of operations while supporting an exceptional member experience? We are growing our leadership pipeline and are seeking an Assistant Fitness Club Manager (Manager-in-Training) . This role works closely with the Club Manager to support daily operations, member experience, team development, and revenue growth, while gaining hands-on training to prepare for a future Club Manager position. This is an ideal opportunity for someone eager to learn, take initiative, and build a long-term leadership career in the fitness industry. What You'll DoClub & Operations Support Partner with the Club Manager to assist in daily club operations Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and development of Front Desk, Club Pride (cleaning/maintenance), childcare/babysitting staff, and fitness leadership Help ensure brand standards for cleanliness, safety, and equipment functionality are consistently met Complete daily checklists, audits, and operational tasks alongside the manager Assist with coordinating repairs, maintenance, and follow-up actions Member Experience & Customer Service Support the Club Manager in resolving member questions or concerns Help create a clean, friendly, and welcoming club environment Lead by example at the front desk by greeting members, learning names, and delivering outstanding hospitality Step in to support member experience needs during peak hours Revenue & Business Learning Assist with membership, personal training, Pilates, and miscellaneous revenue initiatives Learn how to track and understand key metrics such as revenue, retention, and club performance trends Support team members in recommending fitness solutions that help members reach their goals Sales, Marketing & Community Engagement Support membership and personal training sales conversations Assist with in-club promotions, community outreach, and local partnerships Build relationships with members and the surrounding community to help grow the club Team Collaboration & Development Work closely with the Club Manager, trainers, assistants, and corporate support teams Learn how to coach, motivate, and support staff performance Take on increasing leadership responsibility as skills grow What We're Looking For 1-3+ years of leadership, supervisor, or team support experience Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills A genuine passion for health, fitness, and helping others succeed Coachable mindset with a desire to grow into a Club Manager role Sales, hospitality, or customer service experience is a strong plus Willingness to lead by example and learn all areas of club operations What We Offer Competitive annual pay: $35,000-$40,000 Performance-based commissions & bonuses Full Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Vacation & Sick Time Complimentary gym membership Structured leadership development and hands-on training Clear career path to Club Manager as we continue to expand Why This Role?
