Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Sell Gym Memberships
  • Lead collection to get nonmembers to try out the gym for free
  • Oversee the daily operations of the fitness center
  • Develop and implement fitness programs and initiatives
  • Provide leadership and guidance to fitness staff
  • Manage schedules and ensure adequate staffing coverage
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and facility cleanliness
  • Conduct fitness assessments and provide personalized exercise recommendations
  • Assist members with proper exercise techniques and equipment usage
  • Promote a positive and welcoming environment for all members
  • Handle member inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate fitness-related events and activities
Experience:
  • Previous experience in fitness center management or related field
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Knowledge of fitness industry trends, equipment, and programs
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on member satisfaction
  • Proficient in using computer software for scheduling, record keeping, and reporting
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
