We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Manager on Duty to oversee daily operations at our dynamic venue. This pivotal role involves ensuring exceptional guest experiences, supervising staff, managing operational procedures, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. As the Manager on Duty, you will be the go-to leader responsible for smooth shift transitions, resolving guest concerns promptly, and supporting team members to deliver outstanding service. Your leadership will drive operational excellence and foster a positive atmosphere that aligns with our commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Oversee daily venue operations during assigned shifts, ensuring all departments function seamlessly and efficiently Lead, motivate, and supervise staff members to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold company standards Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues swiftly, and ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors Coordinate event management activities, including setup, execution, and breakdown of events or functions held at the venue Supervise cash handling procedures, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain financial integrity during shifts Implement operational policies and procedures to optimize workflow and safety protocols Collaborate with management teams to plan staffing schedules, monitor performance, and support team development Make managerial decisions in real-time to resolve issues promptly while maintaining high service standards Maintain detailed reports on shift activities, incidents, and operational metrics for review and continuous improvement Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by conducting regular inspections and facilitating first aid or CPR if needed Experience Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within hospitality, event venues, or resort environments Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing teams effectively in fast-paced settings Strong background in events management and operational oversight with experience coordinating large groups or functions Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing, scheduling, and communication purposes Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently Experience with shift management, staff supervision, and operational decision-making in a high-volume environment Knowledge of budgeting practices, cash handling procedures, and operational management strategies Familiarity with health & safety standards including first aid and CPR certification is preferred Previous assistant manager or resort experience is advantageous but not mandatory Join us as a Manager on Duty to lead with energy, inspire your team, deliver unforgettable guest experiences, and ensure the smooth operation of our venue every day!
