This pivotal role involves overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of diverse group fitness programs, ensuring exceptional service quality and member satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for fitness, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience in various exercise disciplines. As a key driver of our fitness community, you will inspire both staff and members to achieve their health and wellness goals through innovative program design and motivational coaching. Duties Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive portfolio of group fitness classes including yoga, Pilates, cycling, dance, CrossFit, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT). Lead, mentor, and support regional fitness staff to ensure consistent delivery of engaging and safe exercise routines. Design tailored fitness programs that incorporate biomechanics, anatomy knowledge, physiology principles, and body mechanics to maximize effectiveness and safety. Conduct demonstrations and practical training sessions for instructors to enhance their teaching skills in areas such as manual handling, heavy lifting techniques, and sports coaching. Ensure all classes adhere to health and safety standards by maintaining certifications such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator), first aid, and other relevant safety protocols. Foster a motivating environment by coaching staff on client communication, fitness sales techniques, and delivering exceptional customer service. Monitor program performance through feedback collection and data analysis to continuously improve class offerings and client engagement strategies. Experience Proven experience in the fitness industry with a strong background in group fitness instruction across multiple disciplines including yoga, Pilates, cycling, dance, CrossFit, or sports coaching. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of safety, motivation, and client satisfaction. Extensive knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, body mechanics, and health club operations. Hands-on experience with program design tailored to diverse client needs and fitness levels. Certifications such as CPR/AED/First Aid are required; additional qualifications in personal training or specialized instruction (e.g., Pilates or Yoga) are highly preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire clients and staff alike while managing multiple locations efficiently. Previous experience with gym operations or health club management is advantageous for understanding industry best practices.
