Property Manager The overall purpose of the Activities Coordinator position is to provide opportunities for residents to engage in meaningful social and diversified recreation programs based upon needs, interests, capabilities, and previous lifestyles. This position must coordinate, develop, and maintain quality programs that provide mental and physical stimulation to the residents utilizing staff expertise and community resources. Your responsibilities as
Activities Coordinator:
Development and implementation of all programming to include organizing, scheduling, budgeting, promoting, facilitating and directing all activities and excursions. These must be in accordance with property policies and procedures, current standards, guidelines and regulations governing our community. Escorting residents to and from activities. Maintains sufficient activity supplies.
Post monthly activities calendars that:
reflect the schedules; offer activities at hours convenient to the residents; appeal to both men and women and the age groups living in the community. Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and/or state/federal regulations Your responsibilities as
Assistant Manager:
Compliance & Regulations:
Enforce U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations, Fair Housing laws, and occupancy standards.
Tenant Management:
Process initial applications, annual income recertifications, and lease executions.
Financial Oversight:
Manage rent collections, prepare late notices, and assist in maintaining project accounts.
Facility Maintenance:
Schedule routine apartment inspections, create work orders, and conduct site walks to ensure property curb appeal.
Resident Relations :
Mediate conflicts, issue notices, and coordinate tenant resources or community activities.
Qualifications:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age Requires a high school diploma or equivalent Must have a Valid Texas Drivers License Has one (1) year of activities director / planning activities experience Thorough understanding of activity planning and implementation for seniors Outstanding customer service Time management skills is a MUST Able to operate a computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint etc.) Able to operate standard office equipment, including fax machine, copier, telephone, etc. Able to work with seniors Able to be flexible, adapt and respond to change, make decisions in stressful situations and prioritize tasks and projects.
