Role Description We are seeking a sales-driven General Manager to lead one of our studios in the Fairfax, VA area. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role for someone who wants to run a studio like their own business and be directly responsible for its growth and success. The General Manager owns the day-to-day operations of the studio, leads and motivates the team, and drives membership sales and retention. You'll execute local marketing initiatives, host studio events and community partnerships, and create an exceptional member experience that fuels long-term growth. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for a results-oriented leader who thrives on goals and accountability. Essential Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operations of the studio, ensuring a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for members, staff, and guests. Drive membership sales, retention, and revenue growth through consistent sales activities, lead management, and community outreach initiatives. Train, coach, and manage studio employees in accordance with company policies and procedures. Provide ongoing performance management, including conducting evaluations, delivering feedback, administering corrective action, and addressing employee relations concerns. Develop, maintain, and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient studio operations. Ensure compliance with all company policies, brand standards, safety protocols, employment laws, and operational procedures. Oversee customer service operations, resolving member concerns and escalating issues as appropriate. Monitor and manage key business metrics, including sales performance and membership retention. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required by the company. Conduct regular audits of studio operations, including inventory, lead management, and facility maintenance. Coordinate and execute local marketing, networking, and community engagement initiatives to support business growth. Collaborate with regional leadership to implement company initiatives, programs, and strategic objectives. Ensure instructors and staff consistently deliver services in accordance with company standards and expectations. Respond appropriately to emergencies, member incidents, facility issues, and staffing challenges. Regularly use computers, scheduling software, CRM systems, email, and other technology platforms required to perform job duties. Qualifications Leadership, Team Management, and Sales skills Experience in developing marketing strategies and promoting fitness services Customer service orientation and ability to build strong relationships Excellent communication and organizational skills Knowledge of Pilates or experience in the fitness industry is a plus Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field A comprehensively certified Pilates instructor or interest in becoming certified Compensation and Benefits Salary range $50,000 - $80,000 (based on experience and studio performance) Company sponsored health insurance Flexible PTO Complimentary studio membership 401k plan
