Camp Director

Camp Director (Additional hours available with hosting and serving for weekend events) Tea with Mrs. B is looking for a warm, organized, and dependable Camp Director to lead our children's camp programs and help create memorable experiences for campers, families, and staff. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, leading a team, and creating a fun, structured, and welcoming environment where campers can learn, grow, and make lasting memories. About Tea with Mrs. B Tea with Mrs. B is a charming tearoom and event venue in Falls Church, Virginia. Throughout the year, we offer camps, etiquette programs, tea parties, and special events designed to inspire confidence, kindness, creativity, and connection.

Our camps combine fun, friendship, hands-on activities, and meaningful life skills in a warm and supportive environment. Position Responsibilities Oversee the daily operation of camp programs Lead and support camp staff, CITs, Apprentices, and Junior Staff Ensure the safety, well-being, and positive experience of all campers Plan, organize, and implement daily camp activities and schedules Communicate with families regarding camp needs and updates Provide guidance and support to campers throughout the day Manage camp setup, supplies, and daily logistics Assist with staff training and supervision Handle challenges calmly and professionally Foster a positive, polished, engaging and entertaining camp culture based around good manners and fancy fun We're Looking for

Someone Who Is:

Organized and dependable Enthusiastic and energetic Friendly, professional, and welcoming Comfortable leading and mentoring a team Calm and flexible when plans change Patient and confident when working with children A strong communicator with families and staff Passionate about creating meaningful experiences for children Preferred Qualifications Experience working with children in camps, schools, childcare, or similar settings Experience supervising or managing staff Experience planning activities and youth programs Strong organizational and leadership skills CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain certification)

Schedule:

Seasonal with opportunities for additional hours throughout the year

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain active throughout the day, participate in activities, and assist with camp setup and cleanup At Tea with Mrs. B, we believe camp should be a place where children feel welcomed, encouraged, and celebrated. Pay:

$24.70 - $29.75 per hour
