Duties Lead the overall management of the gym, including operational oversight, staff supervision, and guest services to ensure smooth daily functioning. Develop and implement engaging fitness programs, events, and activities that attract new members and retain existing ones. Manage budgets effectively, monitor expenses, and optimize resource allocation to meet financial goals. Oversee facilities maintenance, safety protocols, water safety instruction, and emergency procedures such as CPR and AED operation to uphold the highest safety standards. Coordinate with event teams to organize special events or tournaments that enhance member engagement and community involvement. Train, develop, and motivate team members through coaching sessions, performance reviews, and leadership opportunities to foster a high-performing team culture. Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing member inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining guest satisfaction at all times. Requirements Proven management experience in a fitness center, resort facility, or event venue with strong leadership skills. Demonstrated expertise in facilities management, operational oversight, and budget control. Knowledge of water safety instruction (lifeguarding), CPR certification, AED operation, first aid training, and emergency response procedures. Experience in event management—planning and executing fitness classes or special events—preferably within hospitality or resort environments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively through managerial communication strategies. Strong customer service orientation with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Familiarity with sales techniques and cash handling procedures to support revenue growth initiatives. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in hospitality management or resort operations is highly desirable.
