Recreation Association Operations Manager Richmond, VA Job Details Part-time | Seasonal | Full-time $25 - $35 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Operations management Vendor management Team management Vendor relationship management Maintenance management Leadership Full Job Description The Operations Manager (OPM) serves as the Association's primary operational leader responsible for managing facilities, contractors, and day-to-day campus operations. This role ensures that the Association's facilities, services, and programs operate smoothly and that members experience a safe, organized, and well-maintained environment. The OPM will also supervise operational staff, including the Snack Bar Manager , and coordinate with the Office Manager on administrative matters affecting operations. Schedule This is a seasonal position with potential for year-round employment. Peak Season (May-September) approximately 40 hours per week Key Responsibilities Facilities and Campus Operations oversee maintenance and readiness of all Association facilities coordinate repairs, maintenance projects, and vendor services ensure overall cleanliness and operational readiness across campus Pool Operations Coordination serve as liaison with the contracted pool management company coordinate operational issues with pool contractor and Board ensure smooth interaction between pool operations and club operations Staff Supervision supervise the Snack Bar Manager coordinate operational responsibilities across campus staff Rule Enforcement enforce club rules and operational policies address member conduct issues coordinate incident reporting and follow-up with the Board as appropriate Required Qualifications strong organizational and leadership skills ability to manage contractors and operational projects ability to resolve operational and member issues effectively strong communication and problem-solving abilities Preferred Qualifications experience managing facilities, recreation programs, or club operations supervisory or management experience familiarity with vendor and contractor coordination certifications or training related to facilities management, safety, or recreation operations Compensation $25-$35 per hour based on qualifications and experience
