Florence Bowser Elementary School Before and Afterschool Program Assistant Site Director, Suffolk VA. Experience and management in a child group setting required. BA degree in a child related field such as elementary education, nursing or recreation. Or 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours of college credit from a college or university of which 12 semester hours are in a child related subject and one year programming experience1 year childcare experience and 1 year supervisor experience with 48 semester education credits.

Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site. Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder. Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents. Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered at your program site. Here's what you'll need: Must have 1-2 years childcare director/manager experience/and or BA, or Associates or certification credits/childcare. Degree in a child related field, such as elementary education, nursing, or recreation from a college or university or one year of programmatic experience. Must be at least 21years old Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards Together, let's put more wonder in the world!
