Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle. The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Minimum 2-4 years experience providing customer service in a high-end fitness center or luxury spa environment, a plus. Hold a current certification in fitness, pilates or yoga. Maintain complete communication and cooperation with all managers. Strong team work and collaborative skills required Energetic, forward thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image. Well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player. Articulate individual who can relate to a diverse group of guests and co-workers. Ability to utilize computer programs including: Spa Operations Software, Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or Outlook. Excellent personal appearance, good communication skills and a friendly, congenial personality is a must Ability to work in a high-volume, busy service environment while maintaining composure and focus on the guest. Here's what you'll do during a typical day: Supervise recreation operations: Oversee recreation-related pool, fitness center, and food & beverage services, activities, and programming Lead the recreation team: Train, schedule, and supervise team members Oversee recreation set up: Manage chair and cabana setup, towel service, and personalized poolside amenities; oversee furniture setup for special events Deliver exceptional service: Monitor service quality, engage with guests to assess satisfaction, and resolve concerns promptly and professionally Manage inventory and supplies: Oversee linen, amenities, and food & beverage inventory to ensure proper stock levels and minimize loss Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing What It Takes to Make the Stay At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member: A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality .
