Classes are 90 minutes long and run weekday mornings and early afternoons. We are looking for reliable, energetic instructors who enjoy working with elementary-age students. Programs include coding, Minecraft, chemistry, math, yoga, Dungeons & Dragons, jewelry making, magic, spy games, entrepreneurship, animal science, and robotics/engineering.Available class times include:
June 8-July 31 Mostly Monday-Friday or Monday-Thursday Classes generally run between 8:30 AM and 2:15 PM Most shifts are 1.5 hours , with the option to teach multiple classes/weeks depending on fit and availability.Responsibilities:
Teach engaging enrichment lessons using provided curriculum and materials Manage a classroom of students in a safe, positive, and organized way Help students complete hands-on projects and activities Communicate professionally with Athena staff and site staff Arrive on time and be dependable for assigned sessionsQualifications:
Experience working with children preferred Teaching, camp, tutoring, coaching, or childcare experience helpful Comfort leading groups of students Strong communication and reliability Subject-matter expertise is helpful but not required for every program, as lesson plans are provided Assistant Instructor roles start at $20/hour. Lead Instructor and specialized subject roles may pay up to $40/hour , depending on experience, reliability, and program expertise.Job Types:
