We run four specialty businesses under one roof, and our products ship all over the world because we're the best at what we do. (We'd say that more modestly, but it's true.) The shop is air-conditioned (this is Florida, so that matters), the team is tight-knit, and no two days look the same. The Role We're looking for a Shop Lead for Custom Quality Covers (CQC) , where we build custom golf cart seat covers to order. Somewhere out there, a golf cart is sitting with a cracked, sun-baked seat, and it's counting on you. You'll be at the center of the shop. You'll cut foam, run the CNC cutter, work the diamond quilting machines, and prep jobs so our sewers can hit the ground running. When the phone rings or an email comes in, you're also the friendly voice that takes the order and gets it into the system. This job comes with real responsibility from day one. We're not looking for someone to watch the clock. We want someone who looks around the shop and thinks, "I can make this run better." Show up, take ownership, and learn how the shop flows, and you'll do great here. Over time you may cross-train in our other businesses too, so the work doesn't get stale. What You'll Do Cut foam accurately to spec for custom covers Set up and operate the CNC cutter Run the diamond quilting machine Prep and kit boxes with materials and paperwork so sewers can start right away Answer customer calls and emails, take orders, and enter them into our system accurately Ship quality products on time Keep jobs moving through the shop and flag problems before they turn into delays Perform basic cleaning and upkeep on your equipment Follow shop safety protocols and keep your work area clean and organized Help set daily priorities, organize workflow, and support the team Be a good teammate.
