Recreation Task Force Manager

Aqualani is looking for an energetic, experienced Recreation Task Force Manager to help lead beach, pool, and ocean recreation operations across some of Maui's premier luxury resort destinations. This is more than a traditional management position. You'll have the opportunity to work across multiple properties, support and develop teams, build strong resort partnerships, and help create the memorable experiences that keep guests coming back to Maui. What You'll Do Lead and support daily beach, pool, and ocean recreation operations Recruit, train, coach, and develop associates and supervisors Build a positive, accountable, and guest-focused team culture Ensure exceptional guest service and consistently high service standards Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor needs across multiple properties Maintain and enforce company safety standards, policies, and procedures Ensure equipment, facilities, and recreation areas are safe, clean, and operational Oversee retail operations, inventory, and merchandise ordering Monitor location performance and identify opportunities to improve operations and revenue Build strong working relationships with resort partners and internal teams Assist with special events, group programs, and seasonal initiatives Document operational activities, incidents, and team performance Step into locations where additional leadership and operational support is needed What We're Looking For Previous leadership or management experience in hospitality, recreation, tourism, watersports, or a related industry A natural ability to lead, motivate, and develop people Strong communication and guest service skills Ability to confidently manage multiple locations, teams, and priorities Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Retail and Point of Sale (POS) experience preferred Comfortable working outdoors in beach, pool, and ocean environments Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Must currently reside on Maui What We Offer Management-level compensation Performance-based bonus opportunities Health insurance options Paid time off Tuition reimbursement opportunities Employee discounts with company and partner businesses Career growth and advancement opportunities The opportunity to work across some of Maui's premier resort destinations A dynamic outdoor work environment where no two days are exactly the same Schedule Full-time Day shifts Weekends and holidays as needed Schedule may vary based on operational needs and assigned locations Location Multiple luxury resort locations throughout West Maui Applicants must currently live on Maui. Pay:

$5,500.00 - $6,500.00 per month
