POSITION SUMMARY
Staff members oversee the safety and supervision while assisting with the program planning for a group of children ages 5 to 12 in accordance with YMCA guidelines and state licensing requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Planning and implementation of specific group activities is the primary function of this position. Staff will undergo professional preparation to be a leader of young children.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with experience working with children, or a strong desire to start a career within childcare. Applicants should have a warm, friendly, assertive personality; be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others; be able to relate well to children; and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with program goals.
Childcare Experience:
1 year (Preferred) First Aid Certification (Preferred) CPR Certification (Preferred)
