Send resume to The LIVIVO Music Hall is a new 1,000-capacity concert hall opening in Brownsville, Texas, presenting national and regional touring artists with a focus on regional Mexican, banda, and Latin music. We are hiring a Venue Manager to run the building. You will be the senior person on the floor for every show, responsible for staff, guests, artists, and the safe execution of live events. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day venue operations during event and non-event periods, including opening and closing procedures, walkthroughs, and operational readiness Serve as Manager on Duty and primary on-site contact for artists, tour managers, promoters, and vendors on show days Coordinate load-in, soundcheck, show timeline, and load-out with the production team Recruit, interview, and recommend candidates for hire; train, schedule, and supervise bar, box office, and guest services staff Enforce TABC-compliant alcohol service, including ID verification, refusal of service, and incident documentation Monitor crowd flow, capacity, egress paths, and physical safety conditions throughout every event Oversee cash handling controls, drawer counts, and end-of-night reconciliation with the bar and box office leads Lead incident response, complete incident reports, and coordinate with ownership and counsel when needed Support show settlement, prepare post-event reports, and recommend operational improvements Manage keys, access control, and building security coordination with our contracted security provider Qualifications 3 years of management experience in a venue, bar, nightclub, or high-volume hospitality operation Experience supervising teams in fast-paced environments TABC seller-server certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and communication skills Ability to work late nights, long shifts, weekends, and holidays High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred Preferred Live music, concert, or touring production experience Experience with ticketing platforms, POS systems, or venue management software Bilingual English and Spanish Physical Requirements Stand and walk for prolonged periods, climb stairs, and move across multi-level spaces Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and respond quickly in emergencies Work in loud, crowded environments with flashing lights and sustained high-volume sound; hearing protection is available Reasonable accommodations will be provided in accordance with the ADA and Texas law.
