Responsibilities:
The Park Service Senior Supervisor oversees the park service team, ensuring the cleanliness, presentation, and overall upkeep of all facilities and grounds. This includes restrooms, dining areas, patios, attractions, midways, parking lots, offices, and team member areas. This role is responsible for directing daily operations, including early morning facility preparation, routine grounds maintenance, overnight cleaning, and support for special events, including catered outings and coordination with external cleaning vendors. The position also includes conducting inspections, managing inventory and equipment, and ensuring proper training on chemicals and equipment. In addition, the Senior Supervisor supports departmental operations such as staffing, scheduling, interviewing, budgeting, and performance management. This leader fosters a positive, high performing team culture focused on productivity, retention, and delivering positive guest experience while serving as Manager on Duty.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT
Serve as Manager on Duty. Maximize the effectiveness of the supervisory team. Build and sustain a positive, high-performance team culture that drives retention, morale, and engagement. Conduct daily walkthroughs of all guest and employee areas to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness. Ensure staffing coverage for catered outings and special events. Order, distribute, and maintain adequate cleaning supplies. Oversee and train team members on the proper use of chemicals and power equipment. Manage preventative maintenance for operations equipment and coordinate specialized external services. Oversee the placement, repair, and replacement of facility furniture and trash receptacles. Promote and enforce a strong safety culture in alignment with all park policies. Develop and execute training plans, including ongoing team development. Model and deliver exceptional guest service. Manage partnerships with external cleaning vendors. Partner with Human Resources to maintain appropriate staffing levels, including support for special events. Demonstrate strong administrative skills, including organization, budget management, and time management. Perform additional duties assigned to support Park Services and overall park operations.
Qualifications:
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained. Strong proficiency in commercial cleaning equipment and procedures. Commitment to safety, including knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Proven leadership ability, with a demonstrated capacity to motivate, coach, and develop team members while serving as a positive role model. A "Team First" mindset with a people-focused leadership style. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet critical deadlines in a demanding, fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and overtime as needed. Ability and willingness to work in all-weather elements such as sun, heat, cold, and rain Strong computer and administrative skills. Valid State Driver's License with the ability to obtain a Park Driver's License. At least 18 years of age.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall park operations. Reports to the Operations Manager.
