Assistant Manager Work Schedule Monday — 7:45 AM-12:00 PM Tuesday — 7:45 AM-12:00 PM Wednesday — 2:45 PM-7:15 PM Thursday — 7:45 AM-12:00 PM Friday — 7:45 AM-1:00 PM Schedule may change according to department needs. Must have the ability to fill in for coverage as needed. Position Summary The Kids Club Lead supports and oversees daily operations within the Gold's Gym Kids Club. This role ensures a safe, engaging, and well-organized environment for children while providing leadership to staff, coordinating activities, maintaining cleanliness standards, and delivering excellent member service. The Kids Club Lead helps uphold Gold's Gym's commitment to safety, consistency, and high-quality experiences. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Leadership & Staff Development Train, mentor, and support Kids Club employees to maintain Gold's Gym standards. Provide on-shift leadership and act as the primary point of contact for Kids Club staff. Deliver real-time coaching and feedback to support team performance. Assist with staffing needs, schedule updates, and workflow communication. Staff Training Child Engagement & Safety Lead age-appropriate games and activities that promote movement and creativity. Maintain a structured, safe environment by enforcing Kids Club rules. Oversee check-in/check-out procedures to ensure secure tracking. Respond professionally to behavioral challenges or minor injuries. Complete incident reports and communicate concerns to parents and management. Child Supervision Activity & Program Management Create weekly crafts, themed activities, and seasonal events.
Position:
Kids Club Lead Maintain inventory of toys, supplies, and materials; communicate restock needs. Ensure activities are inclusive and age-appropriate. Activity Planning Cleaning & Facility Oversight Assign, monitor, and verify completion of cleaning tasks. Ensure toys, surfaces, and play areas meet sanitation standards. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately. Cleaning Schedule Parent & Member Communication Greet parents professionally and provide clear information about Kids Club policies. Address questions or concerns with patience and confidence. Communicate incidents or behavior notes promptly and appropriately. Operational & Administrative Support Support the Assistant Manager with workflow coordination and documentation. Track attendance and usage trends; report patterns to management. Maintain compliance with Gold's Gym policies and safety protocols. Ensure the Kids Club is properly set up before opening and reset after closing. Additional Responsibilities Participate in emergency drills and ensure staff understand evacuation procedures. Promote a positive, energetic environment that reflects Gold's Gym culture. Assist with special events, holiday activities, and Kids Club promotions. Uphold Gold's Gym standards for customer service and professionalism. Qualifications Prior childcare or Kids Club experience preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods Active engagement with children throughout the shift
