Job Description
Alabama State University, Operations and Event Management invites to fill the Ticket Office Coordinator position. This position will be responsible for assisting the Director of Ticket Operations in overseeing all aspects of ticket sales and operations. This role involves managing ticket distribution, customer service, pricing strategies, and ensuring a seamless experience for ticket buyers. The Coordinator will work closely wit marketing, operations, an d finance teams to meet revenue goals and enhance audience engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee all ticket sales operations, including online, box office, and onsite sales Collaborate wit marketing and event teams to implement effective ticketing strategies Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of ticketing software and platforms Monitor sales trends and adjust pricing, promotions, or allocations as necessary Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, complaints, and refund requests promptly Develop clear communication materials related to ticket policies, event details, and accessibility options Manage revenue collection, ticket reconciliation, and financial reporting Entry of all requisitions and trave authorizations Work closely with event managers to understand venue capacity, seating arrangements, and audience flow Coordinate ticket scanning and access control systems for events Address any ticket-related issues that arise during live events Assist in developing pricing models and packages to maximize revenue and attendance Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field or high school diploma with two years of proven experience in ticketing, box office operations or event management; proficiency in ticketing software (Ticket Return), strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage deadlines, excellent communication and customer service skills, working knowledge of financial reporting and basic accounting principles, and have flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.EEOC STATEMENT
