Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities Explains and interprets university, administrative, and office policies and procedures to faculty, staff, students, and the public (oral and written). Develops and maintains policies and procedures for managing activities in campus areas. Serve on Campus Use Mall Committee and sub serve on Campus Use Policy and Procedures Committee. Works directly with Dean of Students on all outdoor campus events. Schedules and coordinates all events to maintain organization within the Campus Use scheduling system. Reviews and processes all web requests for space received online. Assists clients with planning, logistics, and proper procedures for special event requests. Arranges for additional services required by customers. Establishes strong working relationships with campus departments, faculty, students, and the community. Implements distribution of customer evaluations, analyzes results, and takes action to improve service. Informs and instructs student staff on procedures, approvals, and required paperwork for other departments. Directs routine processing of paperwork, record keeping, and data tabulation. Prepares and analyzes annual statistics on usage of outside areas. Assists in carrying out special projects. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Demonstrated strengths in planning, execution and control. Ability to work with various groups of people. Demonstrated supervisory experience and skills. Well-developed organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to set realistic goals, implement goals and plans, meet deadlines and evaluate projects. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students and staff as well as members of the community. Strong skills in written and oral communication.
