Job Description

Seasonal - Zone Manager Social House Entertainment - 5.0 Arcadia, CA Job Details Seasonal $1,600 a week 2 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description
ZONE MANAGER
About Social House Holiday Social House Holiday is the holiday events division of Social House Entertainment. We produce Enchant Christmas, one of the largest Christmas light festivals in North America, running nightly across multiple markets from late fall through early January. Our events are large-scale, immersive outdoor experiences built and operated by a seasonal team that comes together each year to pull it off. About the Role The zone manager owns a defined section of the event floor, a cluster of areas and the staff working within them, and also functions as an extension of event leadership across the full event. There are three zone managers per market, each responsible for a distinct zone. Beyond your zone, you support the event producer, event manager, and workforce manager with day-to-day staff management: checking staff in, answering questions or directing staff to the right resource, and keeping people on task throughout the night. You're the first escalation point between area leads and the event manager, and your job is to keep problems from reaching the event manager unless they genuinely need to. What You'll Do Own the coverage and execution of all activations within your assigned zone. Know what is happening in your areas at all times. Manage the area leads assigned to your zone during each shift. Run pre and post-shift briefings, set expectations for the night, and debrief on any issues. Catch guest concerns, operational issues, and staff situations before they reach the event manager. Resolve what you can; escalate what you cannot, with full context. Maintain radio communication with the event manager and area leads throughout the event. Report zone status updates at key intervals throughout the night. Act as an extension of the event producer, event manager, and workforce manager for day-to-day staff management across the event, not just your zone: check staff in, answer questions or direct staff to the right resource, and keep staff on task. For many staff members, you are their most consistent point of leadership contact on site. Submit end-of-shift reports covering zone performance, any incidents, and attendance notes. What We're Looking For Prior experience managing a team in a live event, hospitality, or high-volume service environment Comfortable leading in fast-paced, high-guest-volume settings with competing priorities Strong communication skills: clear on radio, clear in person, and able to give direction calmly and precisely Available evenings, weekends, and holiday dates for the full event run Logistics Season dates: Mid-November through early
January Schedule:
Evening shifts required; pre and post-shift availability expected on all event days; weekends and holiday dates required throughout the season
Compensation:
$1,600.00 Weekly Salary Physical requirements: Venues span 100,000+ sq ft; frequent walking and standing throughout each shift; outdoor conditions including cold weather; able to lift up to 50 lbs Social House Entertainment is an equal opportunity employer.
