Long Beach, CA Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Contract $22 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Life insurance Referral program Qualifications Customer service High school diploma or GED Driver's License Guard Card Patrolling Event customer service Full Job Description Black Knight Patrol is a full service private security company looking for RELIABLE and competent unarmed Security Officers with a professional disposition and appearance to control and maintain a safe environment while providing protection and excellent customer service to our clients. We are currently staffing up for a large event at the Los Angeles Convention Center July 3-6th. Availability for those dates for either Day, Swing or Overnight Shifts is required. Responsibilities Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people into properties Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the premises Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation Provide assistance to people in need Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities Submit daily reports of surveillance activity and incidents Qualifications Prior security officer or guard experience Previous customer service Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety Report writing Excellent surveillance and observation skills Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems Trained in First Aid Current BSIS Guard Card High School diploma or equivalent GED required Valid Driver License Must speak fluent English; other languages a plus Physical Demands Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time Ability to run Full function range of motion in all major body joints including reaching, twisting, bending, simple and power gripping, fine and gross motor skills Exposure to various weather conditions, confined spaces, and wet, dirty surfaces and walkways PPO # 121005 APPLY NOW!
