Job Description

We are a luxury bespoke event planning company based in Los Angeles specializing in high end weddings and corporate and social events. We are looking for a reliable and professional Event Coordinator to join our growing team. This role requires someone who is polished, calm under pressure, and genuinely passionate about delivering an exceptional experience for every client and guest. You will be assigned a specific coordinator role on each event and are expected to execute it with focus and professionalism from start to finish. Responsibilities Support the lead planner on all aspects of event day execution Carry out your assigned coordinator role on the day of the event Communicate clearly and promptly with the lead planner throughout the event Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times Assist in other areas once your assigned duties are complete Must-have qualifications Available to work weekends, holidays, and long event day hours Located in or near Los Angeles Comfortable in a fast paced client facing environment Professional appearance and demeanor at all times Preferred qualifications Prior experience in events, hospitality, or customer service Ability to work well within a team under direction Strong attention to detail
Pay:
$25.63 - $30.87 per hour Application Question(s): Are you comfortable working 10 to 14 hour shifts on your feet? At A Panache Affair, we operate as a tight-knit team and represent one brand. Are you currently working with any other event planning or wedding companies, and if so, are you willing to work exclusively with APA? Please explain your current situation and how you see yourself committing to one company long term. Every decision made on event day reflects on A Panache Affair as a brand. Can you describe a time where you had to set aside your own opinion or preference to do what was best for the company or client you were representing? How do you balance personal judgment with the bigger picture when the company's reputation is on the line? This role is about making the event and the team look exceptional, not standing out individually. How do you feel about working in a supporting role where the goal is to elevate the lead planner and the client experience rather than your own visibility? Tell us about a time you put the team's success ahead of personal recognition. Our lead planners run the show and every coordinator is expected to take direction quickly and without pushback even mid event. How do you respond to feedback or correction in a high pressure situation? Give us an example of a time someone redirected you on the spot and how you handled it. Events happen on weekends, holidays, and dates that are important to you personally. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Mother's Day and other major holidays are often our busiest times. Are you able to commit to that kind of schedule? Please be specific about any recurring conflicts or limitations so we can determine if this is the right fit for both sides.
