We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Events Manager to join our team and serve as a key liaison between our clients and hotel operations. This role is responsible for managing assigned sales and catering groups from contract through execution and final billing, ensuring every event exceeds expectations while maximizing revenue opportunities. What you'll be doing In this role, you will oversee all aspects of event servicing, including preparing banquet event orders (BEOs), resumes, and event documentation, coordinating room blocks, and ensuring flawless communication between departments. You will act as the onsite point of contact for events, conduct site inspections, and manage function space optimization while participating in daily business reviews. Your ability to build strong client relationships before, during, and after events will be essential in driving repeat business and maintaining The Hollywood Roosevelt s reputation for excellence. What we are looking for We are looking for a hospitality professional with at least 2 years of hotel event planning or sales and catering experience. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational and administrative skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You should be confident communicating with clients, vendors, and internal teams, and comfortable resolving issues with professionalism and efficiency. Experience with automated sales and catering systems such as Opera PMS and Opera Sales & Catering is highly preferred. A bachelor s degree is a plus but not required.
