Role DescriptionThe Catering Event Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of various events. This includes coordinating with clients, managing event logistics, and leading event staff to ensure a successful and memorable experience for all attendees.
Qualifications
Proven experience in event planning and management, including coordinating with clients and vendors
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with clients and vendors
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality events
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field preferred
Previous experience in event coordination and catering is required
Knowledge of food and beverage service etiquette
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, able to drive vans and navigate to different venues
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work well under pressure and handle high-stress situations
Strong leadership skills and a positive attitude are essential
Must be punctual and reliable
Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
