Denver, CO Job Details Part-time $20 - $25 an hour 13 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication In-person customer service High school diploma or GED Productivity software Full Job Description The Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Denver seeks a Part-Time Rentals Assistant for support with events across our diverse rental spaces, including classrooms, art studios, theatres, boardrooms, social halls, and a yoga/fitness studio. This part-time, flexible role primarily covers evening and weekend shifts, with occasional daytime availability. The JCC offers over 10 versatile rental spaces, including classrooms, art studios, theatres, boardrooms, social halls, and a yoga group fitness studio. We are seeking multiple candidates to support our busy event schedule, with a primary focus on evening and weekend shifts. Occasional daytime hours may also be available. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a positive and seamless experience for all clients and guests. Key responsibilities include overseeing rentals to ensure compliance with agreements and JCC policies, supporting event logistics, and ensuring facilities are clean, prepared, welcoming, and fully equipped. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused. Role and Responsibilities Support the Director of Membership and Community Events as the on-site point of contact during rentals and events Supervise logistics, audio, visual, other vendors, and support participants to ensure a successful execution of events Setup chairs, tables, parking lot signage, and other equipment needed Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure space is clean and orderly before guests arrive Ensure all clients and guests adhere to rental agreement policies and building procedures Confirm that rental spaces are clean, properly set up, and fully equipped for event needs Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues Support room turnovers and light event setup Address questions, concerns, or issues promptly and professionally Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum two (2) years of customer service experience Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Professional, enthusiastic demeanor and strong interpersonal skills Flexibility to work non-standard hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in events, hospitality, or facilities coordination Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Physical/Mental Requirements (ADA Compliance) Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Manual dexterity for handling or operating tools, objects, equipment, controls, or materials Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds Benefits Overview This part-time position is not benefits-eligible.
