College Student Activity & Entertainment Specialist PRCLES Pure Entertainment

Job Overview Are you energetic, creative, compassionate, and looking for a meaningful part-time job? PRCLES Pure Entertainment is seeking two college students to provide engaging entertainment and social activities for elderly residents, including individuals living with dementia, in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and adult day care facilities. In this role, you will be the driving force behind organizing exciting events, managing entertainment programs, and ensuring memorable experiences for seniors. Your creativity, organizational skills, and enthusiasm will help foster a lively atmosphere that encourages participation and fun. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your event management skills while making a positive impact on senior's life. In addition, it offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in healthcare, social work, psychology, recreation therapy, nursing, education, and related fields while making a positive difference in the lives of seniors.

Responsibilities Include:

Planning. coordinating, and executing a variety of interactive activities that promote a fun, positive, and respectful environment for residents. Encouraging social engagement and participation Assisting with arts and crafts projects Developing marketing strategies to promote PRCLES Pure Entertainment programs to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and adult day care facilities. Visiting and building relationships with local organizations to promote services and generate new opportunities. Managing event logistics including, venue setup, equipment and props set up.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a college or university Friendly, outgoing, and dependable Comfortable interacting with older adults Strong communication, organizational and planning skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Self-motivated and comfortable networking with organizations and community partners Experience with seniors or individuals with dementia is preferred but not required. Proven ability in marketing and promoting events effectively across multiple channels. Experience in upselling or increasing revenue through creative sales techniques. Knowledge of event marketing strategies and event planning processes from concept to execution. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional communication skills paired with organizational expertise to handle logistics efficiently.
