Job Description

Summary:
The Manager, Events will oversee the execution of select tentpole events while managing a team of full-time and part-time staff. The Events team is responsible for the oversight of all Miami Dolphins game day fan experience initiatives and brand events, as well as assisting with other initiatives for Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Open and Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix. They do this by creating the overall event concept and design, developing the execution plan and timeline, and establishing and overseeing the budget.
Location:
This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities:
Manage full execution of all fan experience elements for Training Camp Public Practice Days Manage full execution of the Dolphins Cancer Challenge Event Finish Festival Lead coordination of game day club level entertainment Lead coordination of in-market events and Miami Dolphins tentpole events Lead role in the planning of Miami Dolphins annual events: Season Kick Off Week 305 Day Lead the following Miami Dolphins Foundation initiatives: Garage Sales Videoboard Messages Manage full-time and part-time staff members Support the Miami Open events team as needed Assist the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix events team leading up to race weekend and during the race
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of prior event planning experience required. Be a collaborative, passionate, results-oriented person who wants to make a difference. Desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic company. Strong ability to demonstrate initiative, solve problems, and work effectively under pressure. Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently. Ability to work nights, long hours, weekends and holidays
