The Taste Club, an innovative gem in the catering industry in Paris, France & New York City, founded in 2019, is looking for an entrepreneurial profile to assist our Operations in Miami. Our Mission We are more than a caterer, our goal is to support local artisans—because great products, homemade recipes, and short supply chains are what truly matter! We collaborate with more than 60 chefs and artisans in each city. Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the seamless planning, execution, and management of a variety of events, including corporate gatherings, banquets, fundraisers, and hospitality functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Prior experience in event planning, hospitality, or related fields such as catering, hotel management, or restaurant operations is highly desirable. This position offers an engaging environment where creativity and professionalism come together to create memorable events. Duties Manage our food & beverage pickups/deliveries Communicate and liaise with our Vendors Ensure every Event has all the necessary to operate in timely manner, meaning you must be able to deliver a professional and organized event setup experience Organize Staffing for each event Represent our values and messaging as you will be first and last physical contact for The Taste Club Communicate clearly with our clients, you will need to meet the standards of a 5-star hotel Skills Can succeed in a fast paced environment Be punctual, has great respect and attitude for the job Independent problem solver, work with minimal supervision and operate all daily functions in a safe manner Walk and stand for extended periods of time, in all weather conditions Able to lift packages (up to 50 lbs.) and be able to get in and out of a van numerous times throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation Have a smartphone with access to data to use maps Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license (Regular License) + safe driving record Nice to have An established network in Miami and surroundings Commercial (or work-related) driving experience is a plus but not necessary. Knows how to drive in the 5 boroughs Bilingual appreciated but not required Join our team as an Event Operations Coordinator if you are passionate about creating memorable experiences through meticulous planning and outstanding service delivery. Your role will be crucial as we are growing exponentially, but you won't be alone; we already have the systems in place, we just need to grow now. While this will be a Contractor role at the beginning, it will transition into a permanent role once we can establish!
