Event Sales & Service Manager The Event Sales & Service Manager is responsible for generating event revenue and delivering exceptional event experiences. This role manages the full event lifecycle, from initial inquiry and sales conversion through planning, coordination, and successful event execution, serving as the primary client contact throughout the event journey. Event Sales Generate and convert new business across corporate, social/weddings and private events. Manage the complete event sales and planning process utilizing Delphi and established brand standards. Develop customized event experiences and strategic solutions tailored to client objectives. Build relationships with wedding planners, bridal partners, corporate clients, community organizations and local businesses. Achieve sales and revenue targets while identifying opportunities to upsell catering, food & beverage and event enhancements. Maintain accurate account/booking management, revenue forecasting and event reporting. Analyze event trends and market opportunities to develop revenue strategies. Develop annual event sales plans and market initiatives. Event Service Management Act as the primary contact for event clients throughout the planning process. Coordinate event requirements with hotel operational teams to ensure seamless delivery. Prepare event orders/resumes and oversee event execution where required. Ensure exceptional guest experiences and manage post-event feedback and follow-up. Maintain relationships with preferred vendors, wedding planners, and community organizations. Represent the hotel at networking events, bridal shows, and industry functions. Develop strategic partnerships to increase market share. Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel event sales, catering sales, conference services, or event management, preferably within a luxury or upscale hotel environment. Proven success selling and servicing weddings, social events and corporate meetings. Strong understanding of wedding planning, banquet operations, catering services, and event execution. Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Delphi required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a luxury lifestyle hotel environment. Established relationships with wedding planners and event professionals in the South Florida market. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Role will require working evening/weekend work if necessary to partake in service delivery.
