The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events to promote our brand and drive sales. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills to ensure each event's success. The Sales Event Coordinator will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver memorable experiences that meet business objectives and exceed guest expectations. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive event marketing strategies to attract target audiences and maximize engagement. Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, catering arrangements, contracts, and logistics management. Manage budgets effectively to ensure events are executed within financial parameters while maintaining quality standards. Negotiate with vendors, venues, and service providers to secure the best terms and services for each event. Upsell additional services such as catering, entertainment, or decor to enhance event offerings. Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements align with client specifications and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally throughout the planning process. Manage guest lists, invitations, and registration processes to ensure smooth attendee flow. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events through various channels including social media, email campaigns, and local advertising. Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback for continuous improvement. Maintain detailed records of contracts, budgets, vendor contacts, and event documentation for future reference. Qualifications Proven experience in event marketing, event planning, or hospitality roles such as banquet management or hotel/event services. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contracts and vendor agreements. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to liaise effectively with clients and team members. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Experience in upselling services or products during events or sales pitches. Knowledge of budgeting principles related to event management. Background in restaurant, catering, or hospitality industries is highly desirable. Familiarity with fundraising activities or guest services is a plus. Ability to demonstrate time management skills and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
