Job Description

Stewardship Manager Gulfshore Playhouse | Naples, Florida Position Summary Gulfshore Playhouse, a leading professional regional theatre in Southwest Florida, seeks a highly relationship-driven and detail-oriented Stewardship Manager to support and elevate donor engagement across the Advancement Department. This role is essential in delivering exceptional, personalized stewardship experiences that strengthen donor relationships, enhance retention, and advance philanthropic support for the Annual Fund for Artistic Excellence and the organization's broader fundraising initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, service-oriented, and passionate about the arts, with a commitment to providing high-touch, concierge-level engagement for donors, sponsors, and patrons. Key ResponsibilitiesDonor Relations & Stewardship Serve as a secondary liaison for a portfolio of donors, ensuring preferences and expectations are known and met Build and maintain strong relationships through in-person engagement at performances, events, and donor interactions Develop and implement individualized stewardship plans in collaboration with the Advancement team Execute thoughtful donor touches including site visits, event invitations, updates, and special occasion recognition Support donor movement through the development pipeline through ongoing engagement and relationship-building Ensure all new donors are properly onboarded, including acknowledgments, database entry, and sponsor list inclusion Continuously identify opportunities to enhance donor satisfaction and deepen engagement with Gulfshore Playhouse Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, hospitality, and gratitude in every donor interaction Communication & Donor Experience Work closely with the Advancement Coordinator to deliver timely donor communications including invitations, reminders, thank-you letters, and tax documentation Manage RSVPs, ticket requests, and concierge services for donor attendance at performances and events Ensure seamless, high-quality donor experiences across all touchpoints throughout the season Data Management & Ticketing Maintain accurate and detailed donor records in Spektrix, including preferences, giving history, and engagement activity Oversee ticketing arrangements for assigned donors, including upgrades, exchanges, and special accommodations Collaborate with Patron Services and Advancement team members to ensure a smooth and elevated patron experience Support database integrity and reporting needs related to stewardship and donor engagement Event & Campaign Support Assist in the planning and execution of donor events including opening nights, receptions, and the annual Gala Generate and manage targeted lists from Spektrix for invitations and communications Provide on-site hospitality and logistical support to ensure premium donor experiences Represent Gulfshore Playhouse at events, performances, and community engagements Greet and engage with donors and patrons at the theatre as needed Qualifications & Skills 3-5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, or a related field Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with donors Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Experience working with CRM/database systems (Spektrix preferred) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of discretion in handling confidential donor information Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) Preferred Attributes Passion for the performing arts and arts education Experience supporting donor events or hospitality-driven environments Strong customer service mindset with a focus on high-touch engagement Ability to anticipate needs and proactively enhance the donor experience Comfortable interacting with high-level donors and stakeholders Why Join Gulfshore Playhouse?
