Wedding & Event Staff Member

We are looking for highly motivated candidates with excellent customer service skills for the position of Event Staff for weddings & events. Our Event Staff is responsible for working under the instructions of our Venue and Day-Of Coordinator, assuming the role of setting up all event details (such as tables, chairs, benches, centerpieces, linens, furniture and other décor items), assisting vendors, welcoming guests, supporting all venue operations throughout the entire event and cleaning and closing of the venue. Moreover, Event Staff needs to constantly be on their feet and attend to the many needs of clients and guests, requiring physical stamina and high energy levels.

Event Staff Responsibilities:

• Setting up venues for events, including seating, tables and décor
• Working as and ensuring that seating arrangements adhere to itineraries & layouts
• Working under the instructions of our Venue Coordinators
• Ensuring the reception area is clean and organized.
• Adhering to event safety standards.
• Ensuring excellent levels of customer service.
• Assuming the role of venue greeter and welcoming guests.
• Setting up lighting and other décor options
• Inspecting equipment for damage after use and checking it against an inventory list.
• Packing up all items when the event is completed.
• Cleaning and closing of venue, restrooms and grounds
