Job Description
Description The Event Assistant is responsible for assisting in all phases of the daily operations of campus space scheduling management. Examples of Duties Ability to lift at least 70 lbs, as well as push, crawl, squat, bend, pull and stack tables, chairs and other items as the position requires necessary to accomplish event setup needs and set-up/tear-down of all rental space for conferences, meetings, lectures and other activities following rules, policies and guidelines. Work with the Registrar's office when needed to coordinate the use of all available classroom space at NCF. Assist in the scheduling (MAZVEO - Software) and maintaining working knowledge of the software along with the access control systems used to manage campus space scheduling needs. Ability to learn about and set-up audio/visual and information technology equipment is essential. Proficiency in audio/visual and computer technology Strong customer service skills Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Full-time NCF student Minimum of two years' experience in working with the public in a diverse environment Self-motivator with high level energy and enthusiastic personality Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of how to use ZOOM, Google Meets, YouTube and streaming is a plus along with a strong background in av technology such as sound systems, mics,computer systems Mac & PC and lighting All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring immigration sponsorship, including but not limited to non-immigrant visas, such as H1B, STEM, or F1, now and in the future.
