EVENTS MANAGER

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a driven, detail-obsessed Events Manager who knows how to close the sale and then execute the event flawlessly. This is not a coordinator role. It's an ownership role. You'll prospect, pitch, book, plan, and run events from first inquiry to final breakdown, all within one of the most celebrated hospitality markets in the South.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive event revenue through proactive outbound sales, walk-in inquiries, and referral cultivation
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead qualification, site tours, proposals, contract negotiation, and close
  • Develop detailed event orders, BEOs, and run-of-show documents for every booking
  • Collaborate with culinary, bar, and FOH teams to design custom F&B programs tailored to each client
  • Oversee on-site execution of all private events — service standards and guest experience are yours to protect
  • Build and manage a pipeline of corporate, social, and wedding clients across the Savannah and Coastal Georgia market
  • Coordinate external vendors (rentals, florals, A/V, entertainment) and manage logistics end-to-end
  • Track and report sales metrics, booking pace, and revenue performance against targets
  • Represent the venue at bridal shows, industry events, and community networking opportunities
WHAT YOU BRING
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3-5+ years of event sales and execution experience with a strong F&B or hospitality background
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a private dining, catering, or events capacity
  • Deep familiarity with the Savannah market — local venue landscape, vendor relationships, and client base strongly preferred
  • Polished written and verbal communication; confident in client-facing sales settings
  • Proficiency with event management software (Tripleseat, Caterease, or equivalent) and CRM tools
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent events without losing a single detail
  • Flexible availability — evenings, weekends, and holidays are part of this role
  • TIPS/ServSafe certification, or willingness to obtain
  • A collaborative mindset and genuine love for the hospitality craft
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
    Base Salary:
    $65,000 - $75,000
