Job Description

Alida Harper Fowlkes was a celebrated entrepreneur within the city. We celebrate the Alidas of our time - the self-made artisans who cultivate Savannah's contemporary spirit - within the walls of our 173 room hotel. The Alida joins modern life with timeless Southern charm on Savannah's revitalized riverfront. The essence of Southern hospitality. This individual takes pride when orchestrating an event. The ultimate liaison, an Events Manager is able to pull together all the pieces and departments necessary to execute a successful and memorable event. They are comfortable supporting, managing, and supervising others. This individual is a true visionary who can see the big picture and has the knowledge and experience to take something from pen and paper to reality.
Requested Tasks:
Conduct client tours of spaces Create detailed banquet event orders for execution of events Work closely with banquet department on operations and event execution Monitor group room blocks and pick up, generate detailed resumes for operating departments Maintain detailed accounts and communications of contracts, event orders, and invoices
Requested Capabilities:
