Job Description
As development coordinator for the College of Engineering development team, you will provide essential administrative, operational, project, and event support to the College of Engineering development team. Core responsibilities include but are not limited to: Coordinate schedules, meetings, travel arrangements, and materials for development officers. Provide administrative support including calendar management, document preparation, and correspondence. Draft, proofread, and finalize written communications, stewardship materials, and reports. Perform data entry and monitor the accuracy of information in customer relationship management software (Ascend on Salesforce) and work with foundation colleagues to maintain updated donor/prospect information. Process disbursement vouchers, travel reimbursements, and monitor travel budgets for development officers. Plan, coordinate, and assist with donor-focused events including alumni receptions, campus visits, corporate partnership meetings, and recognition events. This also may include coordinating guest lists, RSVPs, nametags, and event briefings. Assist with post-event activities including follow-up communications, surveys, stewardship actions, and documentation of event metrics. Qualifications Education & Work Experience 6+ years of work experience related to employment area. Education may be substituted for years of work experience. Desired Skills & Experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be adaptable, flexible, and self-directed. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software. Must be able to handle several activities simultaneously with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines and accuracy. Must adhere to strict confidentiality standards.
