This role works closely with event coordinators and team members to help ensure events are organized, professional, and welcoming for clients and guests. Responsibilities Assist with preparing event venues, service areas, and event spaces before scheduled events. Set up and arrange tables, chairs, displays, signage, decorations, and event equipment. Organize event supplies, materials, equipment, and service items. Assist with loading, unloading, transporting, and arranging event equipment and supplies. Support event coordinators and team members with event preparation and day-of-event activities. Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional assistance. Assist with guest check-in, registration, seating, directions, and general event support. Answer routine guest questions and direct concerns to the appropriate team member. Support food and beverage service when assigned. Maintain clean, organized, and presentable event areas throughout each event. Restock beverages, utensils, guest materials, supplies, and other event items. Communicate supply needs, equipment issues, and service concerns to supervisors or coordinators. Assist with routine coordination involving vendors, venue staff, caterers, and event team members. Follow event schedules, company procedures, venue requirements, and workplace safety guidelines. Handle event equipment, decorations, supplies, and customer property carefully and responsibly. Assist with event breakdown, cleanup, packing, and storage after events. Help return equipment and supplies to designated storage areas. Support coworkers during busy periods and changing event conditions. Maintain a professional, positive, and helpful attitude when interacting with guests and coworkers. Perform other event services and support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous event, hospitality, catering, venue, customer service, or service experience is preferred but not required. Friendly, professional, and service-oriented attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow schedules, instructions, and established event procedures. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Comfortable working in busy, fast-paced, and changing event environments. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Comfortable standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and moving event supplies as needed. Ability to remain calm and professional when handling unexpected event needs.
