Job Description
Position Summary:
The Field Event Manager (FEM) is responsible hiring, training, and working with a team of Brand Ambassadors. FEM's responsible for delivering well staffed, efficient, food safe events where sales goals are being met and maintained in their region. FEM's are also responsible for representing the company with respect to promotions, sales and services of company products within a specified territory. The FEM will reside within in the Bay Area and must be available to work weekends.Essential Responsibilities:
Manages a regional team of Brand Ambassadors, performing Roadshows at Costco Responsible for hiring, training, coaching and monitors/manages performance Develops and manages team schedules that maximize sales opportunities Motivates and coaches team on sales and effective marketing at Roadshow Ensures product in stock for events and team has all supplies necessary to execute events Monitor and manage brand ambassador productivity and performance. Builds and develop relationship with store management Make sales calls and present promotions, prices, and product information. Processes weekly payroll and prepares and distributes other reports as required Maintain regular communication on activity or concerns with manager. .Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree 3+ yrs. Supervisory experience in a sales/customer service environment, or a combination of experience and college course work Prior promotional demonstration or merchandising experience in the food industry a plus. Restaurant experience is a plus Other Skills Proficiency in Microsoft office, Excel and Word and proficient in basic mathematics. Results oriented with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Available to work weekends Good communication, both written and verbal Reliable transportation with the ability to travel within a geographical region (75% of the time) Well organized with an effective record keeping skills Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and good problem-solving skills. Ability to stand 10 hours and lift up to 40 lbs. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary/bonus to commensurate with experience.
