CDL Event Specialist - Class A License

is looking to hire an experienced event display transportation operator who is knowledgeable in DOT regulations and event logistics. Requirements and responsibilities include the following: Active CDL Class A License Clean and verifiable driving record Experience driving a 53ft tractor/trailer unit Position includes scheduled travel across the lower 48 states and potentially Canada (passport or passport eligibility required) Experience with both an automatic and manual tractor Help oversee loading and unloading trailer with equipment and product needed for onsite activations per Event Manager direction Maintain accurate driver logs in accordance with DOT regulations Ability to use and maintain electronic ELD system Perform pre and post trip inspections for each event Provide an accurate maintenance list of both trailer and tractors to Event Manager as well as follow up on items being repaired/repaired if needed Maintain regular communication with Event Manager via onsite and travel logistics Assist in various tasks around warehouse when not traveling (cleaning, organizing, etc.) Ensure all equipment (tractors, trailers, event display items, etc.) is in excellent condition and in line with PMG standards Assist with event set up, activation and teardown with direction from Event Manager Other areas of support include Support all aspects of client business with emphasis on superior customer service and attention to detail Help ensure program goals and events are delivered upon Act as a positive role model through example both internally and externally Provide support across other departments and accounts within PMG Willingness to work outside of traditional hours if needed Skills & requirements Excellent communication skills High level of organization Detail oriented Strong work ethic Basic computer and software skills compatible with job responsibilities Professional conduct within and outside office while conducting corporate business Basic knowledge of tractor and trailer maintenance Ability to drive and operate both a forklift and scissor lift CDL Class A License Ability to travel both weekdays and weekends Travel will be based on program schedule and could be multiple weeks on the road Ability to bend, lift, carry 50+ pounds Performance Marketing Group provides competitive pay, excellent medical, dental and visions plans along with a 401(K) program.
