Job Description

Job Summary:
Support recruitment, onboarding and retention of members. Help plan and executive community, membership and business development impactful events. Administrative Assistant duties to support office management Reports to:
President/CEO Responsibilities and Duties:
Membership:
Identify and recruit new chamber members through networking and outreach. Maintain relationships with existing members to ensure retention and satisfaction. Maintaining membership information and files including database management Identify and recruit new chamber members through networking and outreach. Maintain relationships with existing members to ensure retention and satisfaction. Marketing/Design Oversee communications with members and public through social media, mailings and list-serv Design flyers, social media posts and other graphic design work Maintain social media presence for Chamber Event Planning Organize, coordinate and oversee special Chamber and community events Includes volunteer & vendor management, marketing and logistics of events Oversee databases and financials of special events: Financial Management Maintain financial records of all organizations of the Chamber of Commerce and the Montgomery County Fair Association Accounts Payable and membership billing Office Management Responsible for typing, filing and mailing correspondence, minutes, meeting notices, and other printed material handled by Chamber office Maintain email databases and communications with members, community and board Serve as Interstate Fair and Rodeo office personnel supporting communications, mailings, database maintenance and other fair support Maintain accurate records for all entities involved including the Montgomery County Fair Association, Chamber of Commerce, CVB, and others as required Coordinate and oversee logistics & communication for Business over Breakfast and Board meetings Perform other duties, within his or her capability, as may be requested by the
President/CEO Knowledge and Skills Required:
Highly motivated and personable Proficient in Quickbooks or other comparable accounting software Knowledge of Word, Excel, Canva, and Outlook Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work effectively with people including excellent customer service Must have good organizational skills
High Level of Professionalism Pay:
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
